April 17, 2014

ATLANTA – The Governor’s Office for Children and Families (GOCF) promotes efforts to strengthen Georgia’s youth and families by providing information and awareness on youth development issues, including anti-bullying.

We Unite and Empower Communities So They Can Unite and Empower Families.

Welcome to the Governor's Office for Children and Families' (GOCF) website! We are excited to serve Georgia by working with communities throughout the state to ensure that our children and families are educated, healthy, safe, and growing.

The mission of this site is to provide Georgia communities with information on the grant opportunities, educational trainings, and resources that we offer throughout the state. Please visit our Agency Overview to find out how we serve your community!

Board Chair

GOCF is proud to have Sandra Deal, First Lady of Georgia, as its Advisory Board Chair! Mrs. Deal has centered her life around matters involving family and children in her roles as mother, grandmother, teacher and volunteer in her church. Now, as she works closely with GOCF, Mrs. Deal continues her dedicated focus on families and children as she assists GOCF in its mission to serve and improve lives in Georgia communities.
