First Lady Deal Visits Juvenile Peer Court in Athens

On January 8th, 2013, First Lady Sandra Deal,  Ember Bishop, the Special Assistant to the First Lady, Katie Jo Ballard, the Executive Director of the GOCF, Matthew Pitts, the Special Assistant to the Executive Director, Joe Vignati, the GOCF Justice Administrator, and Samantha Bearden, the GOCF Juvenile Justice Grants Specialist visited a Peer Court for Juveniles in Athens, Georgia. This peer court is a collaborative effort of UGA's J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development, Street Law at the University of Georgia's School of Law, Athens-Clarke County Juvenile Court and the Department of Juvenile Justice.
