Georgia’s Children’s Cabinet is Set to Highlight Juvenile Justice Programs in February

January 24, 2013

Atlanta, GA – Headed by Georgia’s First Lady, Sandra Deal, the Georgia Children’s Cabinet is working with communities throughout the State and each month she will be highlighting the unique programming and support that the State of Georgia is providing to local communities.

The Georgia Children’s Cabinet has chosen to highlight Juvenile Justice during February. First Lady Deal, along with members of the Georgia Children’s’ Cabinet will be visiting multiple programs across the State that are aimed at preventing at-risk youth from becoming offenders and sites that are focused on the rehabilitation of our juvenile offenders.

The Georgia Children’s Cabinet’s goal is to support the Governor in keeping communities safe and ensuring that there are cost effective community based options for our juvenile offenders.
